- anything else you include in your enquiry or Discovery Meeting request.

you, understand your business and determine whether and how BookTrue may be able to help.
We do not sell your personal information.
We will not use information submitted through an enquiry simply to send unrelated marketing to you. South
Africa's POPIA places specific
restrictions on direct marketing by unsolicited electronic communications.
When you become a BookTrue client.
If you choose to work with BookTrue,
we will need additional information to
provide the services we have agreed
with you.
Depending on the property and the services included in our agreement, this may include business and property information, reservation information, booking and distribution data, rates and availability, performance information
and information received through reservation or distribution platforms.
Some of this may include personal information relating to guests.
BookTrue will use this information only where it is reasonably necessary to provide the agreed services, administer our relationship with you, meet our legal obligations or protect legitimate
business interests.
Our handling of client and guest information is also governed by the relevant BookTrue service agreement
and Terms & Conditions.
Who may handle your information.
BookTrue uses trusted technology and service providers to operate its business and provide its services.
Depending on how you interact with BookTrue, information may therefore be processed through services used for
our website, email, forms, reservations, booking engines, channel management, distribution, communication and
business administration.
Where BookTrue works with a client's existing systems or platforms,
information may also be processed by those providers under their own privacy terms.
We do not give third parties your
personal information for their own unrelated marketing.
This distinction is important because POPIA recognises both the organisation responsible for deciding why information is processed and service providers processing information on its behalf.
Reservations and guest
information.
Where BookTrue provides reservation, distribution or related services for a
client property, we may have access to information supplied by guests or generated through a reservation.
This can include information such as a guest's name, contact details,
reservation details, stay dates, accommodation requirements and other information reasonably necessary to administer the reservation.
BookTrue processes this information for the purposes of providing the services agreed with the property.
We do not use guest reservation information for unrelated purposes.
How long we keep information.
We keep personal information only for
as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, our relationship with you, or where we are required to retain it by law.
When information is no longer required,
it will be deleted, destroyed or appropriately de-identified where reasonably practicable.
Keeping information secure.
BookTrue takes reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration
or disclosure.
No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure,
but we take the protection of the information entrusted to us seriously.
